“Atlanta’s Pet Nanny” Julia Harris cares for the animal companions of North Georgia’s most affluent families. Her clients include executives, athletes and music industry personalities. Julia grew up with a menagerie of pets. Her mother was a dog trainer and showed AKC Labrador Retrievers. In her teens, Julia worked as the kennel manager of an AKC German Shepherd breeder and started her pet sitting career. In her twenties she completed college coursework that included animal behavioral science and psychology. Since 1993 she has worked as a pet bereavement counselor. Her counseling experiences led to her first published book PET LOSS: A SPIRITUAL GUIDE. She appeared on FOX News Channel’s Pet News and has had book-signings at Barnes & Noble Booksellers, Fifth Avenue, New York City. Julia has 20 years animal care experience.
